The festival vans

For the school music festival, every minivan in town is booked to carry the students. Each van carries the same number of students.

Halfway there, 10 vans break down, so every other van has to take one more student.

On the way home, 15 more vans will not start. Now every working van carries three more students than it did in the morning.
